I was standing on the edge of a precipice
and from it's edge,
I would have fallen into the bottomless pit
where shattered dreams and broken hopes snaked in blinded fury,
but the abyss closed on itself
and I found myself in a wood's clearing;
summer sun shining down upon me,
glittering the foliage of emerald green,
glistening the faint river of liquid sapphire...
I blinked.
And there I was,
lost again in my Master's eyes,
unfolding a landscape
only my heart could map
charting valleys and canyons of emotions deep;
had I been lost,
I didn't wished to be found,
had I been found,
I'd long to get lost in his universe again
In his eyes, the vastness of existence
was but a mere glance,
and yet,
and yet ...
a glance filled with promises eternal.
